Crowd data is a website dedicated to using the knowledge of people on the ground and collating this to better understand the subject of interest. Our hope is that individual bites of knowledge when grouped together and represented geographically will give a better understanding of the whole of a subject of interest.
By grouping information on a subject, trends are often identified, and the scope of a subject can be more readily understood. The grouped information should help facilitate better decision making.
Crowd data’s focus is on collating information linked to geographic areas. These geographic areas might be as small as your street, neighbourhood or suburb, or as large as the region, state, country or world. The interested community can identify where there is a relevant site, and pin the relevant information to that site for the whole community to view.
Crowd data tailors the data capture form to suit client requirements, provides the data capture interface, and can also easily gather and sort the data captured into a format that you the client can understand. Generally gathered data is provided in excel format for simple sorting and analysis.
